It is September. 

It is our month to honor our relatives who were sent to Residential/Boarding Schools.  

Little Cub Books has created an "Orange T-Shirt" in recognition of our relatives who survived, and in remembrance of our relatives who did not survive. 

Each year on "Orange T-Shirt Day," September 30th, we wear our orange shirts and we donate the proceeds of our T-Shirt sales to benefit the National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition, who continue to advocate for awareness and important policy level change on behalf of all American Indian/Alaska Native peoples.
